the song “As Time Goes By” says famously, “A kiss is just a kiss”…I know it’s an interesting topic to have as my first post here, but I was thinking about that today as I saw a commercial for that new show on ABC about sex and those 3 teenage guys–forget the name and one of the guys just kissed a girl, they were in the hallway of the school.
Our culture really hasn’t shown how precious a kiss is. Over and over and over we see media everywhere where people kiss. Movies, tv shows, books, everything portrays the kiss as something just to do without a thought. First date? Barely know you? Ok, I’ll kiss you!
I know that a kiss isn’t as intimate as some things, say um, sex or touching a whole bunch, but it is a lot more special than our culture makes it out to be…
