Some of the books I want to get around to:
Discipline of Grace — Jerry Bridges (re-read my own copy, not just the library’s)
Be Last; Descending into Greatness — Jeremy Kingsley
December ‘08. Not particularly quotable (I love quoteable books), but still a thought-provoking read about humility.
The Great Exchange: My Sin for His Righteousness – Jerry Bridges
Desiring God — John Piper
War of the Worlds — HG Wells
Orthodoxy — G. K. Chesterton (finish)
Dispensationalism — Charles Ryrie
5 Views of Sanctification — Various Authors
September ‘08. Really good. Some of the chapters were boring, but it was an interesting read.
Institutes — John Calvin
Confessions — Augustine
1985 — George Orwell
Vanity Fair — William Thackeray
In Christ Alone – Sinclair Ferguson
The Mortification of Sin — John Owen
The Death of Death in the Death of Christ — John Owen
Ministries of Mercy — Tim Keller
The Shack — William Young
Ruby Slippers: How the Soul of a Woman Brings Her Home — Jonalyn Grace Fincher

wow!
I am reading Discipline of Grace now, have read Calvin’s Institutes, want to read Augustine’s Confessions, and the mortification of sin is on my night table!!!
a few suggestions, “The Bondage of the Will” by Luther, “The Death of Death in the Death of Christ” by Owen.
and for leisure…”The count of Monte Christo” and “The Bourne Identity”(nothing at all like the movie)
